NUR 360: Concepts of Family Nursing - fall

Prerequisite: NUR 352 & NUR 353

This course integrates and builds upon prior concepts of communication/therapeutic communication, health promotion/protection, and safety as they relate to family nursing. Emphasis is on exploration of various factors that influence risks, selected health disorders and emergencies. Concepts of family, nutrition, genetics and genomics, grief and loss, reproduction, technology and informatics, and sexuality to plan family centered nursing are highlighted.
