LAW 589: Affordable Housing Law - fall
Prerequisite:LAW 530 & LAW 531
An introduction to affordable housing law in Massachusetts and its application in municipalities. The course will focus on the affordable housing statute (G.L. c. 40B), including its history since enactment in 1969, Massachusetts case law interpreting the statute, and application of the statute in specific municipalities. Students will choose a municipality and research how it has handled affordable housing.
