Bioengineering is a discipline that will let Jacob Aaronson help better the lives of others, while challenging himself.
Meet Jacob Aaronson, who's majoring in bioengineering at UMass Dartmouth:
Over the past two years, I've learned what it takes to solve complex problems over a wide range of engineering disciplines. I chose the bioengineering program because there's a strong atmosphere inspired by innovation and cutting-edge research.
I've always been interested in finding a profession where I could help better the lives of others. This program is a unique path that combines all aspects of engineering with my desire to help.
My education would not be the same if it weren't for the College of Engineering professors. They are always challenging me with real-world problems that I will solve some day.
