Transfer Events

On-the-spot decisions

Meet with a transfer counselor who will review your admissions materials. In most cases, your transfer decision will be made on the spot. On-the-spot transfer admissions decisions are available throughout the year.*

Upcoming in-person dates:

• Friday, July 12
• Thursday, July 25
• Monday, August 12
• Wednesday, August 14

Appointments are required

• Book an appointment.
• Walk-ins cannot be accommodated for on-the-spot decision days.
• If there are no available appointments, check back at a later date.

Before your meeting

• Apply online 48 hours prior to your appointment using the UMassD online application
• Email a copy of your unofficial transcript(s) to transfer.admissions@umassd.edu  

Art & music applicants

You will need to submit a portfolio or perform an audition before we can make a final transfer decision.
