On-the-spot decisions
Meet with a transfer counselor who will review your admissions materials. In most cases, your transfer decision will be made on the spot. On-the-spot transfer admissions decisions are available throughout the year.*
Appointments are required
- Book an appointment.
- Walk-ins cannot be accommodated for on-the-spot decision days.
- If there are no available appointments, check back at a later date.

Before your meeting
- Apply online 48 hours prior to your appointment using the UMassD online application
- Email a copy of your unofficial transcript(s) to transfer.admissions@umassd.edu
Art & music applicants
You will need to submit a portfolio or perform an audition before we can make a final transfer decision.
