FDUH Newsletter

The FDUH Newsletter brings awareness to the important work taking place at the Unity House and uplift the faces and voices of our students. The Newsletter serves as a vehicle to educate, inform, reflect, celebrate, and empower. We believe, as Frederick Douglass, that “education means emancipation”.

The Newsletter is also an opportunity to recognize those who contribute to our mission and the lives of the students we serve. We invite the community to contribute to the Newsletter by:

• Submitting a short story, essay, poem, or a piece of art
• Nominating a student, faculty, or staff as one of our impact makers.
• Sharing an observation about a program you attended at the Unity House or an interaction you have had there.
