Artisanry-Ceramics Online
Graduate Certificate
The Graduate Certificate in Artisanry is for students who already have earned a baccalaureate degree and who are interested in pursuing further study in the field of ceramics. This one-year, nine-credit program is for those who want to extend learning by participating within a community of undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students to focus on studio development.
The graduate certificate can assist you as you enter professional practice and/or prepare you to apply to MFA degree programs. Upon completion of the program, your application fee to a UMassD MFA may be waived, and up to 9 credits can be applied toward our MFA programs. On average, 6 credits are transferrable to other schools.
You may enter this program in the spring or fall, and all students are required to have access to a studio to work in for the duration of the program.
