Step 3: UMass Pass

Be prepared for Orientation

Make sure you are up-to-date with requirements and assignments on the fall accepted student checklist or spring accepted student checklist.

Register for Orientation

Orientation is a required part of your Corsair experience to help prepare you for the transition to UMassD. You will need to use your applicant portal login to register, not your UMassD account login.

Your third step in the orientation experience!

Submit your photo for your UMass Pass

Your UMass Pass is the one card you’ll need on campus. You'll use your UMass Pass to access buildings, use your meal plan, and load funds for use on campus. And, if you choose the two-day, overnight June Orientation, it will be the key to your room.

The deadline to submit your photo is one week before your Orientation session.

  • Log in to the UMass Pass Portal using your UMassD credentials. If you have issues with your login, submit a request with CITS.
  • Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
  • When entering the required information, use your UMassD email address.
  • Make sure to enter an answer for every drop down menu.
  • To upload your photo, select choose file and upload photo.
  • If your photo is rejected due to the image size being too large, you can pinch in to the image on your phone to shrink it, take a screenshot, and then crop.
  • Once you receive your confirmation email or you see “Status: Approved” at the bottom of the upload page, you're all set! Your ID will be given to you during your Orientation session.
