Orientation Leaders (OL) help new students and their families make a positive transition to UMass Dartmouth and are some of the best informed students at UMass Dartmouth. Serving as facilitators, hosts, and resources for first-year students, transfer students and families, Orientation Leaders are an integral part of the Orientation program.

The primary responsibility of an Orientation Coordinator (OC) is to assist professional staff in selecting, training, and supervising the Orientation Leader (OL) staff in their facilitation of each Orientation session as they lead new students and their families through this transitional experience.
