Be prepared for Orientation

Make sure you are up-to-date with requirements and assignments on the fall accepted student checklist or spring accepted student checklist.

Register for Orientation

Orientation is a required part of your Corsair experience to help prepare you for the transition to UMassD. You will need to use your applicant portal login to register, not your UMassD account login.

Welcome to the Corsair Family!

Now that your student is a Corsair, you, too, are part of the UMass Dartmouth family.

UMassD student with family on move-in day

The Office of New Student and Family Programs welcomes you to our community. We are so excited that your student has chosen UMassD, and we are looking forward to meeting you all.

Family Orientation

The UMass Dartmouth Family Orientation is a one-day program for parents, guardians, or significant others of our first-year students. You will meet with our professional staff, student Orientation Leaders, and learn firsthand about university policies, procedures, and programs to help residential and commuter students succeed.
