NUR 540: Biostatistics & Epidemiology
Pre or Corequisite: NUR 605
Exploration of principles, concepts, and methods of epidemiology and biostatistics as a mechanism to assess the health status of various populations. The role of the nurse as a leading member of the surveillance team is discussed and application of bio statistical processes are reviewed. Implications for healthcare policy revision and development are linked to primary principles and concepts.
