Action Dialogues

The Action Dialogues initiative builds on past OFD offerings on anti-oppressive education. Given the mission of the OFD and in consideration of other important initiatives along this direction at UMassD, the explicit center of interest and activity focuses on the interconnection between curriculum and instruction, scholarship and service.  

Thus far, Action Dialogues participants are working on two related projects: (1) constructing an oral history archive documenting various forms of injustices in the institution’s history as well as efforts towards equity and justice; and (2) creating short instructional videos highlighting powerful examples of anti-oppressive/oppression teaching across fields and disciplines.
