RN-BS & ABSN Students

RN to BS Online

The RN-BS program is offered as an online bachelor of science degree completion program for those who already hold a valid RN License in the state where they reside. Students may transfer non-nursing course credits from other institutions to meet most program requirements. A total of 31 online course credits must be taken at UMass Dartmouth.

Second Degree Accelerated BS in Nursing Program

Students already holding a bachelor’s degree in another discipline from an accredited institution can apply for the Second Degree Accelerated BS Nursing (ABSN) degree program. In this hybrid program, fully online classes are complemented by on-campus interaction for laboratory, simulation, and testing requirements. This full-time program can be completed in 17 months and prepares students for the NCLEX exam.
