Psychology bachelor's program ranks in top 43%
The U.S. News & World Report has ranked UMass Dartmouth's undergraduate psychology program #234 out of 542 qualifying institutions, placing the university's second largest major by headcount (fall 2022) among the top 43% of U.S. programs, and 10th among New England public universities.
According to U.S. News, the undergraduate psychology rankings were based on peer assessment surveys. To appear on these surveys, programs must have awarded a medium to large number of bachelor's degrees in psychology.
100% of psychology majors in the class of 2022 were either employed or enrolled in further studies within six months of graduation. At UMass Dartmouth, psychology majors are eligible for accelerated 4+1 master's degrees in teaching or psychology research.
