U.S. News & World Report ranks UMassD online undergrad programs 57th best for veterans
The U.S. News & World Report has ranked the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's undergraduate online programs 57th best in the United States at helping veterans reduce the cost of school.
According to U.S. News, the "Best Online Programs for Veterans" ranks were weighted 80% based on their online program rank, and 20% based on the university's ability to cover tuition for enrollees through GI Bills or Yellow Ribbon funding.
This spring, UMassD unveiled a new Veterans Resource Center in the campus center to assist military-affiliated students and their families by providing them with a supportive environment to fulfill their academic aspirations.
"Whether it’s community facilities, injury assistance, or career placement, helpful resources for our veterans are paramount to our university mission to provide an accessible, top tier education for everyone," said Chancellor Mark Fuller.
