UMass Dartmouth and Holyoke Community College (HCC) have signed a new articulation agreement aimed at providing HCC nursing graduates with a clear, seamless transition into UMass Dartmouth’s fully online RN to BS in Nursing program.

This collaboration enhances academic pathways for HCC students, ensuring they can efficiently build upon their Associate of Science in Nursing degree to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The agreement underscores both institutions’ shared commitment to strengthening the nursing workforce and expanding access to higher education in Massachusetts and beyond.

Under the agreement, eligible HCC graduates will gain direct admission to UMass Dartmouth’s RN-BS online program, with a streamlined credit transfer process that minimizes barriers to degree completion. This initiative is designed to support working nurses in advancing their education while balancing professional and personal responsibilities.

This agreement reinforces ongoing efforts to address nursing shortages, enhance professional development opportunities, and improve patient care outcomes.
