New Bedford's Black History Celebrated with Poetry and Music at Abolition Row Park

An afternoon of poeticand symphonic sounds will take over Abolition Row Park as the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center, New Bedford Historical Society, and New Bedford Symphony Orchestra come together to present "Lift Us Up: An Afternoon Interlude." Abolition Row Park will come alive at this free event pros from the poetry and music of contemporary Black and Latino creatives Iva Brito, Hendrick Hernandez-Resto, and Maia Livramento in collaboration with musicians from the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra.
