An afternoon of poeticand symphonic sounds will take over Abolition Row Park as the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center, New Bedford Historical Society, and New Bedford Symphony Orchestra come together to present "Lift Us Up: An Afternoon Interlude." Abolition Row Park will come alive at this free event pros from the poetry and music of contemporary Black and Latino creatives Iva Brito, Hendrick Hernandez-Resto, and Maia Livramento in collaboration with musicians from the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra. The Career Center will dive into resume development, with a strong concentration on sharing your experience through a resume. Students should come prepared with a draft resume after watching the video. A career advisor will provide feedback during this session and individual critique following the session.
