Professor Chaudhry presented his latest research on real estate taxation and affordable housing in Berlin.
UMass Law Professor Faisal Chaudhry attended the Annual Meeting of the European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) where he presented his latest research. Professor Chaudhry’s presentation was based on a forthcoming publication which focuses on taxing imputed returns to the land/site value component of owner occupied real estate as an approach to limiting housing price inflation. The conference was held in Berlin and was the 40th Annual Meeting of the EALE, which has a mission to stimulate the development of Law and Economics in Europe, provide assistance to Law and Economic scholars and bring their scholarship to a wider audience, including policy makers, legislators and judges.
