Friday, October 6 will kick off a weekend that promises to be a treasure trove of memories waiting to be made. At the Alumni/Student Leadership Luncheon, our current students will meet and greet prominent leaders from UMassD and discuss how to make the most out of their college experiences and prepare for their prosperous careers in the future.
Later that evening, UMassD Athletics will induct former student-athletes into the Corsair Athletics Hall of Fame for their winning legacies left behind at UMassD, including Jim Filippo, Seana Golden ’13, Kim Serrecchia ’95, Brandon Stephens ’11, and Robert Yarbrough ’12, and the 1983 Southeastern Massachusetts women’s track & field team.
Saturday, October 7 will feature the lively Blue & Gold Festival on the quad with an array of activities for guest indulgence, including carnival games, a petting zoo, inflatables, pumpkin painting, and more. A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase. The Corsair Tailgate will begin at 3 p.m. with an entry fee of $10, or $15 at the door.
