The Commons - What’s Next for our Local Economies? sponsored by the Public’s Radio, UMassD, and Grow Smart RI to examine cross-border relationship
On May 4 at 7 p.m., UMass Dartmouth, the Public’s Radio, and Grow Smart Rhode Island are teaming up to bring together leaders from the region to virtually explore the shared challenges and opportunities emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite having addresses in two different states, residents of the region share common histories and values and an increasingly interconnected economy. The event is free and open to the public, but registration via Zoom is required.
The event features a panel conversation moderated by Ann Alquist from the Public’s Radio and includes speakers:
- Prabal Chakrabarti, Executive Vice President & Community Affairs Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston
- Mike Goodman, Acting Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at UMassD
- Corinn Williams, Executive Director of Community Economic Development Center of SE MA
- Kristen Adamo, President & CEO of the Providence Warwick Convention and Visitors Bureau
