Join James Grady ’99 as he talks about his work and experience over the past 20 years that has brought him from design firms to his career today as assistant professor of graphic design at Boston University and principal of Design Axl, a company he founded. Grady graduated from CVPA in 1999 with a BFA in digital media. After graduation, he worked for 11 years at kor group, a leading graphic design and branding studio led by UMassD alumni. He later earned an MFA in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design. After RISD, James worked with Fathom Information Design leading data visualization projects for clients such as Google, Nike, Samsung, and Volkswagen.
