UMass Dartmouth kicks off a week of virtual events
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, a national research university and the SouthCoast campus of the University of Massachusetts system, will welcome prospective students and their families to a week-long schedule of virtual events. The events begin Saturday, October 24, and continue through Sunday, November 1.
The Open House sessions feature UMass Dartmouth’s admissions team, students, and university departments that support and enrich student life. A highlight of the event will be hearing UMassD students talk about their own experiences at the university. Similar to the on-campus Open House, there will be a Corsair Fair where you can visit “rooms” and have conversations directly with financial aid, athletics, housing, academic support areas, and more.
Meet the Colleges Week will be held from October 26-30. UMass Dartmouth’s six colleges, Arts & Sciences, Charlton College of Business, Engineering, Nursing & Health Sciences, Visual & Performing Arts, and Honors, will present on undergraduate programs, internships, support and resources, projects and student outcomes. Participants will meet faculty and students from each college and some colleges will have department or program-specific sessions throughout the week.
