UMass Dartmouth's College of Engineering has welcomed 16 new faculty since fall of 2018. They are building new programs in cybersecurity, expanding our region’s blue economy, and transforming engineering education to ensure we provide all students with access to an excellent education and foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in science and engineering.
The appointments are evidence of the University’s ongoing investment in its teaching, research, and engagement. The growth of faculty also demonstrates the College of Engineering’s commitment toward distinguishing UMass Dartmouth as a top-tier research university as well as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Research as recently designated by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.
