Professor Jeremiah Ho’s recent two commentaries on the Human Rights at Home Blog regarding recent Supreme Court decision garnered separate mentions on SCOTUSBlog.  His July 8th post on the Human Rights at Home Blog discussing the Court’s recent Title VII ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County that LGBTQ employees are protected from employment discrimination was noted by SCOTUSBlog on July 10th.  In that post, Professor Ho examined the limitations of Justice Gorsuch’s textualist interpretation of “because of sex” discrimination under Title VII for future sexual orientation and gender identity anti-discrimination advances.

Subsequently, Professor Ho’s July 13th post on the Human Rights at Home Blog discussing the trio of religious cases released at the end of the Supreme Court’s 2019-20 Term (Espinoza v. Montana Department of Revenue, Our Lady of Guadalupe v. Morrissey-Berru, and Little Sisters of the Poor Saints Peter and Paul Home v. Pennsylvania) was noted by SCOTUSBlog on July 14th.  In that post, he assesses the direction the Court is moving toward with its pro-religion decisions.
