Online exhibition showcases the work of 95 BFA and BS seniors
The College of Visual and Performing Arts at UMass Dartmouth is proud to present the 2020 Art + Design Senior Exhibition.
A public presentation is one of the final steps in completing a BFA in Art + Design or a BS in Interior Architecture + Design. For our students it is the culmination of four years of creative exploration, conceptual development, and building skill sets in preparation for their chosen field.
This exhibition showcases the work of 95 BFA and BS seniors. It presents the capstone projects from a dozen programs. Creative work is shown from students in Animation + Game Arts, Ceramics, Drawing, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Architecture + Design, Jewelry/Metals, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Textiles.
As an Art + Design + Music school within a research university, CVPA strives to provide all of our students the opportunities to collaborate, to engage with the community, to embrace interdisciplinary studies and methods, and to emerge as thinkers as well as makers.
While participation in the 2020 Art + Design Senior Exhibition designates the completion of an undergraduate degree, it is equally the beginning of an adventure into the realm of practicing artist/designer. Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the 2020 Art + Design Seniors, and wishing them continued success in their future endeavors.
