The latest volume of the UMass Law Review will debut alongside student presentations
On Tuesday, February 26, UMass Law students celebrated the release of their latest Law Review.
The editorial team introduced UMass Law Review Volume 14.1 and took questions about its contents and the editorial process from audience members and media. Barnaby McLaughlin and Chad Yates, current law students who published in the Law Review, spoke on their articles and the effort behind putting together the review. There was also an announcement and introduction of the incoming Editorial Board.
Current Editor-in-Chief, Kayla Venckauskas, thanked students, faculty, and members of the administration as well as recognizing a donor to the project, the law firm of Bouchard Baker, PC that includes Attorney Tammy Bouchard Baker (Law, ’11).
"The UMass Law Review provides students the opportunity to edit and publish scholarly works that have an impact on the legal community”, said Editor-in-Chief, Kayla Venckauskas. “It is an organization where students can write and express their own legal arguments and build a foundation that can influence their careers. All of this work is possible with the support of UMass Law administration, faculty, and now an incredibly generous donation from a local attorney and alumnus, Attorney Tammy Bouchard Baker."
