UMass Dartmouth Chancellor Robert E. Johnson announced today that he has appointed Jennifer Chrisler to the position of Vice Chancellor for Advancement, effective May 1, 2018.
UMass Dartmouth Chancellor Robert E. Johnson announced today that he has appointed Jennifer Chrisler to the position of Vice Chancellor for Advancement, effective May 1, 2018.
“Jennifer will come to our university with more than two decades of public and private sector experience focused on creating and implementing strategic initiatives, building coalitions, and generating personal and financial support for institutions and movements,” Chancellor Johnson said. “Jennifer’s expertise at building support for endeavors that create new opportunities for people will be critical as we invent our future here at UMass Dartmouth. Please join me in welcoming her to our team.”

Since 2013, Chrisler has served as the inaugural Vice President for Alumnae Relations and Executive Director of the Alumnae Association at Smith College, her alma mater, where she was responsible for all facets of alumnae development and engagement.
Previously, she served eight years as the Executive Director of the Family Equality Council, a national non-profit organization with more than 100,000 members, whose mission is to secure equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender parents and their children. Prior to her leadership of the Council, she took on leadership roles at a diverse set of non-profit organizations and companies.
