The university adds to its graduate business education choices with a MS in Finance
The Massachusetts Board of Higher Education recently approved a new MS in Finance at UMass Dartmouth. The program will begin in fall 2018. With this new addition, UMass Dartmouth will now offer four specialized business Masters programs (MS in Accounting, MS in Finance, MS in Healthcare Management, and MS in Technology Management) in addition to the MBA. There is now a total of 34 masters programs university-wide.
Remarking on the new degree, Dean of the Charlton College of Business, Kathryn Carter stated, "We are pleased to launch the new MS in Finance as it supports career advancement in a range of fields, including financial services, banking and other industries. Additionally, this degree develops the competencies that individuals and companies need to compete in the 21st century. We encourage both working professionals and graduating seniors to enroll to advance and increase their career options."
This degree program advances the goals of the University's strategic plan and addresses current and future workforce competencies.
