UMass Dartmouth will hold the 16th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast on Friday, February 2 at 8:30 a.m. at Woodland Commons. Shaun King, a voice in the Black Lives Matter movement will deliver the keynote address.
Proceeds from the event support student-centered diversity initiatives at UMass Dartmouth. Last year's event raised funds for:
- Haitian American Student Association
- Nursing- Bridging the Gap Program
- Two scholarships for Share the Dream
- S.P.E.A.K.
- African Student Association
- Unity Fest
- Cape Verdean Student Association
- National Association of Black Engineers
