American Library Association features law librarian Emma Wood for development of legal research resource in evolving LGBT area
UMass Law Librarian Emma Wood wrote for the American Library Association blog Intersections about her development of a library guide for LGBT research. Her blog piece described how she evolved the guide to remain current amid fast-paced changes in the law, especially the same-sex marriage decision in the U.S. Supreme Court. "If diversity of people and the advancement of rights is mirrored by library materials, the tasks that we undertake to keep current are our duty to social change," Wood wrote.
