The UMass Dartmouth Department of Public Safety is holding its 20th annual Quarters for Christmas fundraiser today until 2 p.m. at the Campus Center.
The UMass Dartmouth Department of Public Safety is holding its 20th annual Quarters for Christmas fundraiser today until 2 p.m.at the Campus Center. Chancellor Peyton R. Helm delivered the first quarters at 10:30 a.m. The quarters used to purchase the hot dogs will be lined up throughout the Campus Center to show the tremendous spirit of giving on campus. All donations will be used to purchase toys for children, which will be dropped off at the Greater New Bedford Boys and Girls Club and the New Bedford Women's Center. All are invited bring their quarters and then enjoy hot dogs for 75 cents with all the fixings. All food and items for this event are donated by Chartwells Food Services. The UMass Dartmouth Police raised more than $1,400 dollars last year through Quarters for Christmas.
