UMass Dartmouth hosts 2016 University of Massachusetts Intercampus Marine Science (IMS) Research Symposium
The research of marine scientists across the UMass system will be on display this Friday, March 25, as UMass Dartmouth will host the 2016 University of Massachusetts Intercampus Marine Science (IMS) Research Symposium. The symposium will take place 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at UMass Dartmouth’s Claire T. Carney Library's Stoico/FIRSTFED Charitable Foundation Grand Reading Room.
The symposium offers a unique opportunity to learn about the creative and innovative research being conducted by faculty and graduate students. UMass marine science researchers will share and discuss ongoing and proposed research with students, staff, and faculty from all five UMass campuses (Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Worcester). In addition to oral presentations, the event includes keynote speakers, poster presentations, and a reception.
