UMass Dartmouth celebrates Class of 2015 May 15-18
UMass Dartmouth's 2015 Commencement is over three days with four ceremonies. This year's undergraduate and graduate ceremonies will take place May 15-18, 2015. All of the ceremonies, except for the UMass School of Law, will be held in the University's Vietnam Veterans Peace Memorial Amphitheater. In the event of rain, these ceremonies will be moved to the Tripp Athletic Center. The Law School ceremony will be held in the Main Auditorium on the main campus, rain or shine.
The UMass Dartmouth Class of 2015 is made up of 1,923 (1427 undergraduates; 440 graduates) students representing 235 Massachusetts communities, 28 states, and 30 countries. 56 students will receive their Juris Doctor during Monday's law school ceremony. The Top 5 major areas of study include Engineering (230), Psychology (128), Nursing (119), Accounting (115), and Biology (88). The Top 5 communities of
UMass Dartmouth's graduating class are New Bedford (154), Fall River (145), Dartmouth (85), Somerset (49), and Taunton (40).
Reserved parking for media members is available in lot 13 on the main campus. Media credentials, especially for photographers, must be visible throughout coverage of any of the four ceremonies. Each Commencement ceremony can be watched live via http://www.umassd.edu/commencement/watchonline/. UMass Dartmouth's WUMD FM 89.3 will also have live coverage of Commencement.
