Celebration of UMass Law Class of 2015 today at the Bailey Auditorium
National legal analyst Rikki Klieman will receive an honorary degree and offer the keynote address today at UMass Law's Commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. in the Main Auditorium on the main campus.
Attorney Klieman is currently a CBS News Legal Analyst. She was an Anchor at the Courtroom Television Network from 1994-2010 and a Contributor for the CBS Early Show, the NBC Today Show as well as the E! Network. She has also appeared as a legal analyst on NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, ABC, CNN, CNBC and MSNBC. In addition, Ms. Klieman continues to inspire others with her autobiography, Fairy Tales Can Come True--How a Driven Woman Changed Her Destiny, which reached the L.A. Times Best Seller List.
Brittany L. Raposa, JD '15 will address her fellow graduates as the selected Student Commencement Speaker. At the law school, Brittany served as the Student Bar Association Secretary and as the Executive Notes Editor on the University of Massachusetts Law Review. She was also an instructional assistant and a Dean's Fellow tutor.
Reserved parking for media members is available in lot 13 on the main campus. Media credentials, especially for photographers, must be visible throughout coverage of the ceremony. This year's undergraduate and graduate ceremonies will take place May 15-18, 2015. The UMass Dartmouth Class of 2015 is made up of 1,923 (1427 undergraduates; 440 graduates) students. The Class of 2015 represents 235 Massachusetts communities, 28 states, and 30 countries.
