Unveiling of mural latest initiative in campus-wide Living Gallery Project designed to re-imagine the university as an artistic and architectural destination
The UMass Dartmouth community will come together to celebrate the installation of a large outdoor mural on the west facing facade of the University's Campus Center, a high profile location on the main campus, at 4 p.m., Wednesday, October 21.
The mural dimensions will be approximately 48x12 ft. The unveiling of the mural is the latest initiative in the campus-wide Living Gallery Project designed to re-imagine the university as an artistic and architectural destination. This past May the university announced that Muralist Angelina Marino Heidel and Collaborating Artist Joel Heidel of Marino Heidel Studios had been chosen as the finalist team for the UMass Dartmouth Mural Art Project.
