UMass Law to host an open house for prospective students on Wednesday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m.
The University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth (UMass Law) will host an open house for prospective students on Wednesday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m. (333 Faunce Corner Road, Dartmouth, MA 02747).
The open house will offer opportunities for prospective students to learn about UMass Law's full-time, part-time, and evening programs, as well as the joint Juris Doctor and Master's in Business Administration degree program, and the joint Juris Doctor and Master's in Public Policy program.
UMass Law has been provisionally approved by the Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar of the American Bar Association. The school is distinguished by a diverse student body, affordable tuition rates, and fellowship opportunities that further reduce the cost of law school in return for a commitment to public service.
UMass Law has been named a Top 5 Eastern Regional Law School for Black Students in the second edition of the Lawyers of Color (LOC) Black Student's Guide to Law Schools 2014. In addition, Dean Mary Lu Bilek was recently honored at the 6th annual Top Women of Law in Boston sponsored by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly for her commitment to social advocacy and access to justice through her performance in the area of public legal education.
