Statement from Chancellor Divina Grossman on President Caret
"Robert Caret has been a wonderful colleague and mentor. He has been very supportive of UMass Dartmouth and our ambitions to be recognized as a national research university. In his role as president, he has helped engineer two consecutive years of 50-50 funding to support our students.
Through initiatives including his statewide bus tour and a robust "Here For A Reason" marketing campaign, he strategically and successfully highlighted the people and places of UMass. In addition to reaching out to the business and civic community across the Commonwealth, President Caret has elevated the profile of the five campus university immensely."
