Just in time for the holidays, UMass Dartmouth CVPA students selling artwork as unique gifts
UMass Dartmouth's College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) students will have their artwork for sale on Thursday, December 11 from 4 p.m.-9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, December 12-13. The sale will be held at UMass Dartmouth's Star Store Campus in downtown New Bedford. Items for sale will include handmade pottery, sculpture, fiber arts, textiles, jewelry, and paper goods from both undergraduate and graduate art students and UMass Dartmouth alumni.
The sale supports emerging artists in various fields and provides opportunity for the local community to purchase unique gifts for the holiday season. A portion of the proceeds will help fund student scholarships for furthering artistic endeavors.
UMass Dartmouth's CVPA is a place where students, faculty, professionals and audiences from diverse cultural communities gather to develop a high degree of professional competence, explore connections, develop new modes of communication, and engage in the process of making art.
