With the spring sports season underway, the UMass Dartmouth Athletics Department wants to remind Corsair Nation that no matter where they are, they can still watch many of the university's student athletes live in action. The Little East Conference (LEC), in partnership with web streaming company EZStream, brings fans LittleEast.tv, allowing viewers to watch all games, both live and archived, free of charge.
"Our main goal is to always have fans in the stands to watch our tremendous student athletes in action," said Director of Athletics Amanda Van Voorhis. "We understand though that Corsair Nation extends far and wide and that various factors can impact our fans ability to make it to games and matches. LittleEast.tv is a great way for parents, alumni, and our students to tune in and see our Corsairs."
The LEC also offers mobile video viewing at www.LittleEast.mobi. Owners of smart phones can watch live events for free as well.
UMass Dartmouth Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Field Hockey, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Men's and Women's Soccer, Softball, Swimming and Diving, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Track, and Volleyball all compete in the LEC.
