Celebration of Diversity at UMass Dartmouth Takes Place April 3
The UMass Dartmouth Fredrick Douglass Unity House invites members of the University community and general public to the 1st Annual Unity Gala, Thursday, April 3, 2014, at 6:00 p.m., at UMass Dartmouth's Woodland Commons. The celebration of diversity on the UMass Dartmouth campus will include student performances and an opportunity to learn about the various cultural student organizations.
The Divine Sword Gospel Choir, Pan African Dance, Haitian American Student Association, and Sigma Phi Rho, as well as students who perform Spoken Word poetry and dance from the UMass Dartmouth Music Department, will be part of the Gala.
The event is free for UMass Dartmouth students. For other students with valid identification, the cost is $10 and $25 for non-students and members of the general public. Please RSVP to Donna Moore (dmoore@umassd.edu) by March 28, 2014.
