College of Visual & Performing Arts Ranked 20th on East Coast, 61st Nationally
UMass Dartmouth's College of Visual & Performing Arts (CVPA) was ranked 20th on the East Coast and 61st in the United States for its animation program offerings by Animation Career Review. The online career resource cited the CVPA's offerings, which include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Design with an option in Digital Media and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. Curricular offerings for the CVPA include 2D Animation, 3D Modeling, Digital Imaging, Storytelling and Storyboarding, and 3D Modeling. The college also offers a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Design and a Fine Arts Certificate.
Animation Career Review launched its site in 2011 with the goal to be the most comprehensive source of information for aspiring animation and game design professionals. Its goal is to be the online resource for people aspiring for careers in animation, game development/design/art, graphic design, digital art, and related fields. The site currently receives roughly 120,000 unique visitors per month. CVPA is a comprehensive arts college with Bachelor's and Master's programs that prepare students for careers in the arts.
