UMass Dartmouth Students to Advocate for Volunteer Pledge
SouthCoast Serves, a UMass Dartmouth and Leduc Center for Civic Engagement collaborative that fosters service and volunteerism, have helped organize a "SouthCoast 60" pledge rally taking place tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2, 2014, beginning at 9:30 a.m., at Morton Middle School in Fall River, MA.
UMass Dartmouth students Aaron Orlinsky, Sade Williams, Rhesa Cumberbatch, Alejandro Lopez, Nick Botelho, Arlene Baldwin, and Gabrielle Monteiro will take part in tomorrow's rally to encourage middle school students to pledge to complete 60 hours of community service this year. Remarks will also be offered by City of Fall River Mayor William A. Flanagan regarding the city's commitment to service.
