Renee Buisson named Assistant Chancellor for Marketing
Chancellor Divina Grossman today announced the appointment of Renee Buisson as Assistant Chancellor for Marketing. In this position, which reports to the Chancellor, Ms. Buisson will oversee branding, web development, publications, and other marketing activities designed to project the excellence of UMass Dartmouth.
"Renee will bring a wealth of experience and expertise, along with a team-building spirit, to our marketing efforts,'' Chancellor Grossman said. "As the higher education market continues to evolve, it is imperative that we are bold and creative in communicating to the world about the transformational teaching, learning, discovery, and engagement opportunities here at UMass Dartmouth. Let us welcome Renee to our team."

Ms. Buisson joins UMass Dartmouth after serving for the last five years as the Executive Director for Public Affairs at Assumption College where she implemented a new branding campaign, launched a redesigned web site, and helped create student recruitment communications plan.
Prior to joining Assumption College, Ms. Buisson served as Executive Director for University Relations at Bryant University for eight years. From 1990 to 2000, she served as Associate Vice President for Public Relations at the Quincy Medical Center.
