Tuesday, November 19, at 5pm, at the Marine Museum at Fall River (70 Water Street, Fall River, MA) SouthCoast Serves will hold its annual service showcase.
SouthCoast Serves is a UMass Dartmouth, Leduc Center for Civic Engagement collaborative that fosters service and volunteerism to meet the needs of our community by leveraging resources, expertise and capacity to maximize impact. On Tuesday, November 19, at 5pm, at the Marine Museum at Fall River (70 Water Street, Fall River, MA) SouthCoast Serves will hold its annual service showcase.
The showcase will feature
* Fall River City of Service Presentation with Mayor Will Flanagan
* "Volunteerism as a Pathway to Employment" panel discussion with:
o Lyndsay Synder, Director of External Relations & Development, Massachusetts Service Alliance
o Mariano M. Pimentel, Jr., Vice President & Human Resources Development Officer, Bristol County Savings Bank
o Linda Quinn, Marketing & Development Director, United Way of Greater Fall River,
o Professor Shannon Jenkins, UMass Dartmouth Political Science Department
SouthCoast volunteer superstars and community service members will also be recognized as part of the celebration of service and volunteerism in the SouthCoast.
