Students, faculty, staff and community invited to forums scheduled for March 30 through April 6.
Six distinguished finalists for Chancellor of UMass Dartmouth will spend a day on campus meeting with students, faculty, staff, graduates, and community leaders, starting Friday, March 30.
Dr. Maurice W. Scherrens, Senior Vice President at George Mason University, kicks off the meetings Friday with a visit to the Dartmouth campus, followed by Dr. Divina Grossman, Vice President of Engagement at Florida International University on Monday, April 2, and Dr. Mary K. Grant, President of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, on Tuesday, April 3.
On Wednesday, April 4, Dr. Jonathan C. Gibralter, President of Frostburg State University, will visit the Dartmouth campus, followed on Thursday, April 5, by Dr. Daniel J. Julius, Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Alaska System, and Dr. Jem Spectar, President of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown, on Friday, April 6.
Each day the Chancellor finalists will meet with faculty from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.; with students from 11 a.m. to noon; with staff from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and wrap up with a campus forum from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. open to the public.
The meetings will take place on the Dartmouth Campus at the Charlton College of Business, Conference Room 115.
