The program includes Hands Across the Sea by John Philip Sousa, Festive Overture by Dmitri Shostakovich, Troika (from Lieutenant Kije) by Sergei Prokofiev, Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral and the Prelude to Act 3 of Lohengrin, both by Richard Wagner.
Our guest soloist will be William Kingsland, trombonist. Mr. Kingsland is the low brass professor at UMass Dartmouth, as well as the Director of Music for the town of Dartmouth. He will be featured on The Blue Bells of Scotland, as arranged by Arthur Pryor, the famous trombone soloist with the John Philip Sousa Band.
