The choirs of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth will perform in concert on Thursday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the College of Performing Arts Building, Recital Hall, UMass Dartmouth 285 Old Westport Rd.
Featured in this concert is the fifty-member University Chorus and the Select Chamber Choir each directed by Dr. Tianxu Zhou, the UMD Gospel Choir directed by Wes Brown, and the student-led a capella ensemble Mental Note.
Selections include "City Called Heaven" arranged by Josephine Poelinitz, "Go Where I Send Thee" arranged by Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory, "The Awakening" by Joseph Martin, and many Gospel and popular favorites.
