Information for Commencement Ceremonies in the Main Auditorium

Accessible Parking

For ceremonies in the Main Auditorium, vehicles with state-issued ADA placards should park in designated spaces in Lots 4, 5, and 6. Vehicles transporting persons with mobility issues will be directed to a drop-off area close to the venue and will proceed to park as directed. You can view the UMassD campus map to find each lot. Shuttles and golf carts will run from all lots to a designated drop-off location near the Campus Center. 

Guest Drop off Locations

Vehicles transporting persons with mobility issues will be directed to a drop-off area close to the venue and will proceed to park as directed. Individuals will still have to get through security before entering the venue.

Accessible Seating

There are limited designated wheelchair spots in the Main Auditorium.

Service Animals

Service dogs are allowed to accompany handlers during the Commencement ceremonies. However, pets are not permitted at any ceremonies.

Accessible Restrooms

Accessible restrooms are available in the Campus Center and LARTS building.

Wheelchair Rentals

The University will not provide mobility equipment.
