COIN Authorized User
Enrolled students may grant a COIN Authorized User to their COIN accounts. Designees are able to view student specific information with their own access. The student maintains control of the COIN Authorized User account (i.e. username, password, and access).
If parents or other designees have detailed questions regarding a student's financial aid status, a completed Consent for Student Release of Information Form is required. This form upholds the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974. FERPA is a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records.
For more information on parent access, students can refer to COIN under Help on my.umassd.edu.
