Arnie the Corsair joined students in thanking faculty and staff for their donations
UMass Dartmouth's Advancement Office marked International Gratitude Day 2016 by thanking faculty and staff who have made donations to support the university.
Arnie the Corsair joined students in visiting offices across campus with a "Thank You" cookie and a note of gratitude from Interim Chancellor Randy Helm.
International Gratitude Day is celebrated annually on September 21. The celebration allows both individual citizens and organizations to celebrate the broad meaning of gratitude in a variety of ways. The celebration started in 1965 in Hawaii when an international gathering decided that it would be a good idea to have one day per year to formally express gratitude and appreciation.
