Appreciating Massachusetts' history
Evan FitzGerald is former Army quartermaster and first-year student at UMass Law. He's glad he chose UMass Law, where "staff and professors help in every way to make students successful."
"I've heard about the cutthroat competition at other law schools. It's not like that here. Our class sticks together. We study together in groups. It helps me learn."
A California native, Evan also appreciates studying law in a state that contributed to the start of democracy. "I wanted to come to Massachusetts because of its history."
